Dear Sirs,
After choosing Militec-1 as the product that we believed to be
the best to contribute to the company's reduction in vehicle fuel costs, we
found additional benefits to the larger sized engines. Significantly, engine
noise in all cases had reduced suggesting an immediate effect.
The fuel efficiency on the 3.0 + litre petrol engines seemed to
average an extra 7 miles to the gallon on the longer (motorway) runs.
The drivers including myself agreed the engines ran noticeably
smoother.
After a period of three months using Militec-1 I feel convinced
we will get longer life and mileage from these engines, we have yet to ascertain
the benefits from the compressors used in the factory which have also been
introduced to militec 1 but they are small and thus difficult to measure
benefits in such a short time scale.
As I was so impressed with the smoothness of the vehicles in the
workplace I boldly added it to the oil of my Classic 1977 Corvette with its unit
being 5.7 litres (350ci Small Block Chevy) assuming the benefits would be more
apparent on larger engines. My assumption was correct and although the engine's
head and block are unmodified and in good condition after 90,000 miles the
result of adding Militec 1 surprised me. First and most obviously the idle speed
increased from 600rpm to 900 rpm which in my mind denotes the dramatic
enhancement of viscosity to the original lubricant. Being an older design unit
which runs on conventional carburettor without built in computerised emission
systems (a raw, large petrol engine) the effect of militec 1 is unmuffled and
more readily ascertained. it runs noticeably cooler, and quieter, I can honestly
say the benefits of militec 1 were immediately apparent. As far as petrol
consumption is concerned the effect is positive, but to what degree is unsure,
town driving is thirsty work anyway and as the best results seem to be on
motorways it is with much enthusiasm I embrace the idea of putting your product
through its paces behind the wheel of my 350bhp V8 and reaping the full benefit
of Militec 1 as soon as I can.
Kind regards
Josh Walsh
