Background: As you know, Curt's Diesel Repair has been doing business since 1981. We are proud to be able to say that we have developed a reputation for reliable, quality service in the Diesel truck repair industry. We are always looking for new and innovative products to better serve our customers.

You introduced MILITEC-1 to us just over a year ago when a truck in your own fleet, #75, was unable to pass the California State Opacity test, then later passed with no maintenance other than adding MILITEC-l to the engine oil. We were a bit skeptical at first, but since you had such excellent result, we decided to try it, too.

We are glad we did, and so are our customers. Here are a few reasons why we feel MILITEC- 1 is an excellent product:

Emissions reduction: MILITEC-l cuts Diesel tailpipe emissions. Since the state of California and the EPA are now focusing their attention on Diesel emissions, this is very important.

We have seen many trucks that either have difficulty or are unable to pass the current opacity tests. One was a 1973 GMC with 221,878 miles on the odometer. It looked like it might need a major overhaul soon. On the first snap of the smoke test, it actually showed 100% opacity. After numerous snaps, it finally achieved a passing score of 33.6%, but it was still very dirty. This was absolutely the best I could get it to do, using every trick I know.

I put 56 ounces of MILITEC-1 in the six-gallon sump, and then drove it to the Corona office of Downs Oil and back - a distance of about 8 miles total. When I got back, I tested it again. The first snap was 16.1%. When it settled down after just a couple more snaps, it passed the test with a score of 11.8%.

This 66% decrease in tailpipe smoke was entirely due to MILITEC-l. I have seen these kinds of results over and over again using MILITEC-1.

Fuel Mileage: The current high cost of Diesel fuel is a trucker's nightmare. Anything that can be done to cut the amount of fuel a truck uses will immediately improve the trucker's bottom line.

I have one good customer who keeps meticulous fuel records on his small fleet. He has very long baselines, so he knows exactly what each truck is capable of.

I asked him to try MILITEC-l and be agreed. Once again, he got nice long baselines with MILITEC-1 involving many thousands of miles on all of his trucks, so we could be sure the comparison would be accurate.

After the test was over, his fleet had increased its fuel mileage by 10.4%. This was the average for the whole fleet. One truck actually increased its fuel mileage by 16%.

Once again, this is not an isolated event. Increased fuel mileage is the rule, not the exception, when we use MILITEC-1.

Engine Life: One of my customers has a very high-mileage truck. In fact, it is just about to become the first million-mile motor we have seen. We feel that this extreme longevity is due, at least in part, to use of MILlTEC-1.

Other Uses: I should add that we use MILTTEC-l in all the lubricated systems in our customer's trucks - transmission, differential, etc. The results are excellent in these applications as well.

All in all, I am very pleased with the results we have obtained using MILITEC-1. I also find the profits to be excellent. After initially purchasing it in limited quantities (5-gallon pails), I am now quickly working my way through my second 50-gallon drum.

I recommend MILITEC-1 without reservation to all my customers.
